In about 48 hours from now, the Black Entertainment Television (BET) will crown Artists who won the hearts of most music lovers across the world last year. This is an award ceremony many Artist Managers and fans strive with all odds to make sure their progenies get featured on. Even a nomination is enough to be celebrated.
The Best International Act; Africa category has been the focus of most Showbiz Platforms in Africa. With names like Camp Mulla (Kenya), Ice Price, Wizkid both from Nigeria, Lira (South Africa), Mokobe (Mali) and Sarkodie (Ghana), the category stands very competitive leaving many in conundrum as to who will be the winner.
BET in their own words say this about Sarkodie “Sarkodie’s energetic flow will get adrenaline levels rising nonstop on the dance floor”
Team Sarkodie, the working force behind the Ghanaian rap demon, Sarkodie, has expressed confidence in the BET award of which their idol is set to battle strong forces from the African Continent. Speaking to this reporter, Fred, the Manager of the group added that, “Though the category is very competitive, there is no way we are not sailing through”. To the team, the category is a Ghanaian deserving one as comparing the achievements of all in the category last year, Sarkodie outshines them.
Gino, Faya, Mohammed, Selasi, Anthony, Eddy, Darlington, Fred who comprise the team posited that, “Sarkodie is certain of winning the award”. To them, this nomination is a way of telling the world how incredible the ‘Rapperholic’ is and this is just the preparatory stage as Sarkodie is yet to outdoor his best.
www.233times.com wishes the old student of Achimota Preparatory and Medass the best of luck and congratulates him once again for directing BET attention to Ghana.
