It added that cars with pink stickers as well as those with diplomatic number plates would park at a specially designated area along the Marine Drive, leading to the rear entrance of the Black Star Square.

“Both red and pink sticker holders are to note that after 1pm there will be no vehicular access on the Castle drive road towards the Marine Drive leading to the rear entrance of Black Star Square,” it added.

The statement said the main grounds of the Black Star Square would be available to members of the public for parking, adding that the Police and other security personnel would be on duty to ensure order.

“At the Asomdwee Park, there will be specially designated areas in the inner and outer perimeters for members of the general public who wish to observe the ceremony”.

“The Planning Committee would like to entreat all concerned to co-operate with the Police and security personnel to ensure orderliness during and after the wreath laying ceremony.”
