I am destined to reveal the horror, funny and proficient side of Fante Rap to the world – Kofi Kinaata

images (1)Already receiving the appellation ‘Discovery of the Year,’ Kofi Kinaata, the Fante Rapper signed to Samini’s High Grade Family is undeniably one of, if not, the best Fante Rapper in Ghana now. With few names doing Fante Rap in contemporary GH music, Kinaata is the name settled on when anyone thinks of a prolific Rapper with that accent.

The alumnus of Takoradi Technical Institute (TTI) revealed on ‘New Day’ on TV3 this morning that Eminem inspires him in music; he is the type who would do so many verses of raps on a song so he only needs a Singer for collaboration- a trait of Eminem.

According to him, he is destined to reveal “the horror, funny and proficient side of Fante rap to the world and that is what I am embarking on.”

In his wish, “I would love to collaborate with Kwabena Kwabena, Kaakie and so many names which will take the whole minutes of this show if I start mentioning them”

Kofi Kinaata is a signed Artiste to High Grade Family and is managed by Tony Pun, same person who manages Dancehall King Samini.
