Ken Agyapong is like a wounded lion seeking to destroy me – Jake Obetsebi Lamptey

By on
downloadAfter clearing the air surrounding ‘key’ financiers of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Jake Obetsebi Lamptey has proceeded to warn Hon. Kennedy Agyapong to cease badmouthing him.

Not too long ago, news went viral that the leadership of the NPP had squandered moneys meant for the 2012 election. The self acclaimed financier of the party, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, proclaimed that the elders of the party had stolen motorbikes he bought for the party and minced no words calling Mr. Obetsebi Lamptey a “thief”.

But the party chair in an interview with Okay FM told the station that he sees the whole saga as an attempt by Mr. Agyapong to stage an evil agenda against his candidature.

The party would soon visit the polls to elect national executives and Mr. Obetsebi Lamptey believes it is a calculated attempt to drug his name through the mud to make him unpopular.

He compared the antics of Hon. Agyapong to that of a wounded lion who was seeking to destroy him. The NPP chair categorically stated that as leader of the party, he personally doesn’t know the NPP MP firebrand “as a financier” of the party.
