Vodafone-Ghana Music-Awards-2014 -OnoBello0505-01Charter House, a Nigerian owned Company which organizes awards for Ghanaian Musicians and ‘Showbizers’ has made a shocking revelation. www.233times.com learnt that, Foreign Artistes particularly Nigerian Acts who are airlifted to the country every year during the Ghana Music Awards to perform are not paid for their services.

The Director of Productions, Nii Ayittey Hammond is quoted to have said on Radio Univers, University of Ghana based Radio Station that “if they (Nigerian Acts) are coming to perform at the awards night, they don’t charge us and we don’t pay them. All we do is, we ensure that we take care of their flight, their accommodations, their per diem and give them their honorarium because they understand that it is an awards night”.

According to him, the foreign Artistes, particularly the Nigerians are aware and understand how their publicity could be propelled when they are billed to perform on such big night.

www.233times.com is following on truth behind this and would update Readers.
