costa-pa_3010343bIn a well heated encounter between Chelsea and newly promoted side, Burnley,it was Jose Mourinho’s men who had smiling faces at the end of the game.

Burnley drew first blood in just 14 minutes into the start of the game, however newly signing Diego Costa wasted no time to draw level for the Blues when he fired a low shot into the net after Ivanovic’s right-wingcross had hit the far post.

Goals from Schürrle and Ivanovic in the 21st and 34th minutes respectively was enough for Chelsea to take all three maximum points.

Chelsea’s new boy ,Cesc Fabregas also won the man of the match with an en-thrilling performance. When asked about how he was able to fit into the team,he said “They’ve made it so easy for me. Everyone has welcomed me since day one, I’ve felt very comfortable with the staff, with all the players. We have a good connection so I’m expecting a really good year in front of us,” he told Sky Sports.”

He however looks forward to having a successful season with the blues who now have some new young and promising talents to their squad.
