Unconfirmed rumour from very reliable source reveals that, Sarkodie charged the Ghana Music Awards organizers, Charter House GHc100,000 for the estimated 10minutes performance given every performer on the night, www.233times.com is informed.
Akwasi Aboagye of Peace FM in an interview with George ‘Aboagye’ Quaye asked him whether the amount rumoured is true but in his usual skillful prowess in communication, Aboagye swerved the question.
The RTP Award winner for best Entertainment Review Show for several times, Akwasi Aboagye on his most listened Showbiz Show revealed that Sarkodie demanded Gh100, 000 from Charterhouse but the Nigerian owned outfit told Sarkodie’s management that they could pay Gh40, 000. Charter House then agreed on GHC90, 000, but Sarkodie was steadfast on his GHc 100,000 charge and later increased it to GHc120,000.
