Jordan Ayew put behind him a turbulent off the pitch controversy to secure a win for Ghana in a friendly against Congo Tuesday.
Ayew scored in injury time to seal off a 3:2 victory that nearly didn’t happen as the Congolese equaled just on the stroke of full time.
Ghana led 2: 0 at half time courtesy an own goal and one from Boakye Yaidom.
Congo pulled one back on the 50th minute mark.
The match was played at the newly built 60, 000 capacity Kintele Stadium.
