DISTURBING PHOTO: Susupected theif crucified in Sekondi

IMG-20160626-WA0003-660x330A young man believed to be in his twenties has been tied to a Coconut Tree and beaten to death at Essei Lagoon area in Bakaeyir, a surburb of Sekondi.

The assembly Member of the Area,  Ishmael Bravo tells Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson in an interview, he got the news from some of the residents on Sunday morning,  June, 26, 2016 around 6am.  He folloed up immediately to the scene.

According to him, some residents claim the victim who is yet to be identified is believed to be among some notorious persons who have been robbing people in the vicinity so luck might have eluded him on Sunday as he was caught and lynched.

The body has since been conveyed to the Effia Nkwanta Hospital Morgue by the Sekondi Police for autopsy whilst investigation continues.
