Ini-EdoNollywod actress Ini Edo is one of the most loved and respected actress in Nollywood.

Although she also had her share of controversies in the past when her marriage packed up unexpectedly.

For some time now, the actress hasn’t feature in any movie, which has drawn concern from her worried fans.

While many were of the opinion that her political position has been responsible, the actress has openly debunked that.

In a recent interview, she debunked the tale making waves about her saying, her political appointment won’t and hasn’t affected her acting career.

Meanwhile, the actress is the Special adviser to Akwa Ibom state governor on tourism and also the coordinator of the state’s first festival called Ibomfest scheduled to take place in December 2016.

She said: “I would like to state that my stint in government won’t affect my career as an actress. Since my appointment to serve my state, i have been receiving calls from producers and actors alike, to extend their hands of fellowship in building the Nigerian Project. Again, i have being invited to play different roles in the movie industry, so nothing has changed.”
