Founder-of-the-Ghana-Freedom-Party-GFP-Akua-DonkorHusband of the 2016 presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) has appealed to Ghanaians to entrust the mandate of leadership into the hands of Madam Akua Donkor in the December polls.

Mr. Agyei Frimpong said given her pedigree as an experienced farmer, she will deliver on all the promises she has made.

The visibly happy man who accompanied the presidential hopeful to the office of the Electoral Commission (EC) to file her nomination said he is happy his wife is seeking the high office of the land.

He said over the last eight years, no section of the Ghanaian society has been spared from the effects of the mismanagement of the Ghanaian economy thus we need someone like Akua Donkor to turn Ghana’s fortunes around.

Mr. Agyei Frimpong urged Ghanaians to his wife, Akua Donkor the opportunity to steer the affairs of the state.

Meanwhile, eight other aspirants including candidates of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) also filed their nominations.

The other political parties who also filed nominations include: National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings, United Progressive Party (UPP), Independent Peoples Party (IPP), All Peoples Congress (APC), United Front Party (UFP) and Reform Democrats Party (RDP).

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the EC, Charlotte Osei accepted only the forms with the filing fees due to a court suit by the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP).
