Prez. Buhari to sell presidential jets to cut down on “waste”

president-buhari-in-presidential-jetNigeria has put up two of its 10 presidential jets for sale as a part of a campaign to cut down on “waste”, a spokesman for President Muhammadu Buhari has said it has been reported.

According to the BBC, Newspaper advertisements for the sale of a Falcon 7X executive jet and a Hawker 4000 had been authorised by the presidency, Garba Shehu said in a statement.

He added that the move to cut down the presidential fleet was “by no means complete”.

Some of the other presidential aircraft would be handed to the Nigerian Air Force to boost its operations, Mr Shehu said.
