Western Region root for Wilson Arthur as W/R Minister

Even before Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the president-elect of Ghana would start making his appointees known, people of Western Region have started making their pleas known to the next president of Ghana.
Residents of Western Region, particularly Sekondi-Takoradi are on social media asking for CEO of Skyy Media Group, Wilson Arthur as regional minister of the most endowed region in Ghana.
Daily posts on social media has a Western Region resident asking the leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to consider the
BSc Agric Economics, MCiM UK, Executive Masters in Public Administration holder as Western Region Minister.
Willie as he is affectionately called by the region has served Western Region with his successful media empire for the past 19years. Prominent broadcasters like Ato Kwamena Dadzie, Abeiku Santana, Kwame Dzokoto, Philip Osei Bonsu, Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson, Ewurama Smith, Winston Amoah, Mama Vee, Nana Otu Gyandoh, Kweku Temeng, Cyrus Degraft Johnson, Francis Abban, amongst others have all had the ‘Willie touch’ in the initial stages of their media career. He is NPP’s representative for the Wassa East constituency.
He owns Skyy Power FM, West Gold Radio and Star TV all in Sekondi-Takoradi and also Prime FM in Accra. He is also the CEO of Wassa Foods and Wilsad Support.

He was also named the Western Regional Personality of the year in 2004.
