The feat was recorded last Sunday, when the Stars thumped Ethiopia 5-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. It makes him Ghana’s all-time top scorer, as well as African greatest scorer in the FIFA World Cup with six goals.

Making his debut his debut against Somalia in 2003, the “Baby Jet”, now 31, has grown to become not only a pivotal member of the team’s strike force, but also a continental soccer icon.

Asamoah Gyan will be backed by his ASA Band, and is expected to perform such songs as “African Girls”, and ” Odo Pa”‘, both of which he recorded alongside the now latent Castro.
