23-year-old commits suicide over misunderstanding with girlfriend

794d1601efb725406f2a71e782e9d8d1-L-530x330POLICE in Axim in the Nzema East Municipality in the Western Region have commenced investigations into circumstances surrounding an alleged suicide case in the coastal community. 
A 23-year-old fisherman, who has been identified as Akwasi Augustine, is believed to have committed the act at Berewire Akyinim, a suburb of Axim in the Nzema East Municipality, one of the sprawling coastal communities in the Western Region.

Information reaching The Finder indicates that the deceased committed the act after being jilted by his lover.
Eye witnesses say he had had two children with a young lady but the woman broke up with him after some misunderstanding and went for another guy.
It is further said that on the evening before the act, Augustine visited a barbering shop openly lamented that he live to see another guy snatch his lover from him. 
The following morning, around 4.30, the lifeless body of the 
Augustine was found hanging on a tree at the sea shore.
His body has been deposited at the Axim Government Hospital mortuary pending autopsy and the police investigations.
