As a multi-talent, Stormy Stori is able to compose all genres of music but prefers to concentrate on soul music, R&B, jazz and hip hop with a touch of Ghanaianess in all her songs.
Currently promoting her first single ‘Just me and you,’ Stormy Stori has presented a competitive alternative to good music lovers. Produced by MOB’s Possi Gee, ‘Just me and you’ is a masterpiece which talks about a lady who has struggled to find a man who understands her kind of love. Fortunately for the said lady in the ‘Just me and you,’ she has found her Prince-charming who perfectly matches what her heart seeks.
Astute sound engineers and showbiz players who have had the opportunity to listen to the song before its release have graded the song as an ‘exceptional piece.’
Growing up, Stormy Stori was inspired by listening to songs from Lauryn Hill, Erika Badu and Tweet. “My love for music has made me withstand the vicissitudes of life. I have been through a lot of ground shaking moments which required me to give up on my talent but I think the love for music surpasses any problem that I face” Stormy Stori shared.
According to Stormy Stori, astute music Producer Possi Gee is the responsible for her overnight success in music. Falling in love with Ghana music, she tried her hands on an afrobeat and it was a match made in heaven.
She is currently working on an album with MOB Studios.
