The much anticipated ‘Made in Taadi Concert’ headlined by multiple award winning Artiste Kofi Kinaata came off last Saturday 23rd December, 2017 at the Jubilee Grounds in Takoradi with over 15,000 attendees.

The event which was selected by fans of Kinaata on social media chose the free concert over dinner with them and a song as a Christmas present from the Effiakuma bred Artiste.

A total of thirty (30) armed military men safeguarded the venue for the maiden edition of the concert. Arguably one of the events in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis to be safeguarded against operational crises, the Made in Taadi Concert is tagged to be one of the event to put in place well-structured security measures.

Artistes’ Performances

One of the main aims of the concert was to project promising Artistes from the Western Region’s capital Sekondi-Takoradi. More than twenty-five (25) up and coming Artistes performed at the Made in Taadi Concert.

Being the last to perform, Kofi Kinaata, the headliner for the concert performed for more than forty minutes and ended his performance at 4:39am.

VVIP and Obrafour who were expected at the event unfortunately could not make it. The Made in Taadi Concert team revealed that, both Artistes had to attend to emergencies that is why they couldn’t make it for the event. Even though absent, the Artistes extended their warm regard and support for the event.
