It has become predictable that when anyone is listening to a hit song produced in 2017, one phrase is expected, “Willis Beatz.”
With an unassailable record of producing more than 10 hit songs in 2017, the obvious choice in this year’s ‘Producer of the year’ category is William Osafo popularly known in Showbiz as Willis Beatz.
With songs he produced nominated in almost all the categories, the Tape Masters Producer towers in that category.
As this year’s Music Producer of the year will go to the Producer who produced the song that wins ‘Most Popular Song of the year,’ a Producer’s victory is dependent on the song that wins that category.
Social and traditional media have predicted his win ahead of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which is coming off this Saturday 14th April, 2018.
