Geopoll through a unique mobile-based methodology is able to provide next-day audience measurement data for TV, radio, and print which has been measuring media audience ratings through mobile phone surveys in Ghana since 2014.
In the Western Region of Ghana, Skyy Power FM has 16% of the radio audience share, followed by ROK FM 9%, Beach FM 9%, Spice FM 7%, Melody FM 7%, Connect FM 6%, Goodnews FM 5%, Westgold Radio 4%, Empire FM 4%, Twin City Radio 4%, where as the other stations in the region share the remaining 29%.
In the 2017 report, Goodnews and Space competed for the top spot, followed by Skyy Power and Rok competing for third. Throughout 2017, Goodnews FM and Space FM battled for ratings, although by Q4 Space FM had taken the lead with a 14% audience share compared to 10% for Goodnews.
