What do you gain from envying people? Ayesem quizzes in new song ‘Envy’ featuring Fameye (DOWNLOAD)

2018 Ghana Music Awards UK ‘Uncovered Artiste of the year’ winner Ayesem, real name Stephen Siaw has quizzed people who are overly envious in a new song with a nationwide hit potential titled ‘Envy.’

In the song which features Fameye, Ayesem praised God for making his cup overflow in the midst of the envy and attempts to block his progress. “Some people wish they are the ones always enjoying in life and no one else gets the best too but that is not how the world is” Ayesem sung in ‘Envy.’

Known for his profound rap skills, the Shocks Entertainment signed Ayesem did not rap in ‘Envy,’ a mid-tempo Higlife song with live percussion.

“They wish we fall, someone wish we don’t get what we eat but God has prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies and my cup is overflowing with champagne” Ayesem added in the song.

Fameye comes in the song wondering how a bosom friend could envy him. “A good friend who should wish that I fly like an eagle is rather wishing I fall” Fameye sadly adds.
