As the coronavirus pandemic continues to cause wreaking havoc around the world, many countries are coming up with measures to ensure the safety of their citizens and prevent further spread.

In Ghana, intense pressure is mounting on government to not only close the country’s borders as announced but also introduce a lockdown.

Already President Akufo-Addo has directed both public and private schools from tertiary to basic level, to close down until further notice. There is also a ban on social gatherings of more than 25 people.

Confirmed cases as of Tuesday, March 24, stand at 52 with two deaths.
